Mark Garfield Phebus, 58, of Jonesborough, Tennessee and formerly of Frederick, Maryland, died tragically October 23, 2012. He was a graduate of Thomas Johnson High School (1972) and Frederick Community College. He served in the United States Navy and was retired from a career at Potomac Edison.
He is survived by his wife Joanne, son Jonathan and his wife Amanda, and grandchildren Jacob and Adina, as well as his parents Clark and Wilma and brothers Clark and Eric. He was predeceased by his son Benjamin and his sister Nanette.
An informal reception for friends and family will be held at the home of Clark and Beverly Phebus, 4709B Elmer Derr Road, Frederick, on Saturday, October 27, from 2 – 5 PM.
Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to Johnson City Alliance Church, 2837 Boones Creek Road, Gray, TN 37615, either to the general fund or designated for the building fund or missions.
